ONDE
Onde is Italian for “Waves”. This instrument has 3 almost equal tuned chambers which together produce a swirling drone. With the open fingered 6 hole fingering system on the front chamber, you can play a pentatonic octave+ a 9th above, based on an Anasazi tuning. The bottom of the instrument is scooped out so you are also able to play it on the head of somebody to immerse the listener in soft, beautiful waves of sound.
