The Natey is a clay flute with the tuning and fingering of a Native American Flute (NAF), but with the compact size of an ocarina.
Because the Natey is a vessel flute, it sounds one octave lower than an open flute. Comparing with a NAF flute in A, you can hang a Natey with the same tuning around your neck, like a pocket version of the NAF! The Nateys have a special developed Terra Sigillata technique, with or without smoke fire effect.
The Natey comes in many different sizes, from a very small D5 down to C3! The most common pitches are shown in the picture below. Do you need a specific pitch or key? We even make our nateys smaller and bigger or even in 432 Hz, just share your wishes with us!
